How to Think and Understand
Why Your Brain Gets Stuck — and How to Access Higher Intelligence
The more people try to think their way to clarity, the more confused they often become.
You begin with a simple intention to understand. But as thinking continues, the mind starts looping. The same thoughts repeat, new angles appear, but nothing resolves.
This is not a lack of intelligence. It is the use of the wrong level of mind.
The Real Problem: When the Brain Overloads
The brain has limits.
When faced with complexity, uncertainty, or incomplete information, it behaves like an overloaded processor. It tries to force solutions, fills gaps with assumptions, and begins repeating patterns.
This creates overthinking.
When emotions like fear enter, the nervous system becomes disturbed, and the loop intensifies. At that point, the brain is no longer solving the problem. It is reacting to it.
The Design of the Mind
The brain is meant for:
- Basic operations
- Daily functioning
- Executing actions
It is not designed for deep understanding.
That role belongs to a higher level of intelligence.
The Higher Brain and Intuition
Beyond the ordinary brain is what can be called the higher brain.
This level of awareness is not limited in the same way. It does not struggle through step-by-step thinking. It perceives, draws in the right understanding, and recognizes when something cannot yet be resolved due to missing or unclear information.
This is experienced as intuition.
Intuition is a direct connection with a deeper intelligence. It does not come with pressure. It comes with wisdom and calm feelings that arise from within.
A Simple Observation: Where Your Attention Goes
You can observe this in everyday life.
When people are thinking deeply, they often look upward. This is almost unconscious. It is a natural attempt to tune into the higher brain. In those moments, new ideas, fresh approaches, and unexpected solutions can arise. These are characteristics of superconscious thinking.
But when a person is in a disturbed emotional state, the opposite happens.
The shoulders slump. The gaze drops downward.
This reflects a disconnection from higher awareness. Attention moves toward lower energy patterns, which deepens confusion and emotional distress. The mind becomes more reactive, and the loops of overthinking continue.
Your posture and direction of attention are not just physical habits. They influence the level of consciousness you access.
The Shift: From Effort to Alignment
Clarity does not come from thinking harder.
Do not try to think your way out of confusion. Shift your state first, and clarity will follow.
When the mind becomes still and energy is gathered inward, a different kind of intelligence begins to function.
A New Way of Thinking
Real intelligence is not about processing more. It is about accessing the right level of awareness.
When you rely only on the brain, thinking becomes repetitive and exhausting. When you access the higher brain, understanding becomes direct and clear.
Most people occasionally touch this higher intelligence unconsciously, in brief moments of insight or clarity. But this is not stable.
Instead of relying on these accidental moments, it is possible to make this a conscious process.
Through the practice of Hong Sau meditation, you learn to calm the mind, gather your energy inward, and direct your awareness upward. Over time, this creates a steady connection with higher intelligence.
What appears as rare insight then becomes a natural way of functioning.
Every action then naturally becomes wisdom guided, bringing in innovative new directions and solutions in life.
Final Insight
Understanding does not come from effort alone.
It comes from alignment.
When your energy is centered in your astral spine and focused in your Spiritual Eye, you rise above confusion.
In that state, you do not struggle to understand.
Understanding begins to come to you.

Healing the Heart: Moving from Suppression to Transmutation
What we often call healing is not always true healing. It is the mind learning to function while the hurt remains within.
Paramhansa Yogananda taught that real transformation does not come from suppression or mental effort, but from a deeper inner process that shifts the very flow of lifeforce.
